NAPARC Advisory Board:
David Schexnayder
David Schexnayder is the pastor of Providence OPC in Scottsdale and a native of Phoenix. He grew up in an unbelieving household, but the Lord saved him while at the University of Arizona completing his undergraduate degree. It wasn’t long after that God brought him to a conviction of Reformed theology and, in time, a call to pastoral ministry. David holds a BA in History, a M.Ed., and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte.
Doug Whitehead is a ruling elder at Providence OPC in Scottsdale and originally from Orange County, California. The Lord saved him in 1990, drawing him to faith in Christ. A few years later, while studying apologetics and church history, he was introduced to Reformed theology through the White Horse Inn radio show. Doug is a data science consultant and holds a BA, MA, and an Executive MBA. He is also the men's soccer coach at Arete Preparatory Academy in Gilbert AZ.
Chris is the Associate Minister of Word & Sacraments at Phoenix United Reformed Church. He comes from a broadly Evangelical background and transitioned into Reformed churches in his early twenties before attending seminary. In 2022, he received dual Master of Divinity and Master of Arts degrees from Westminster Seminary California, and he also holds an undergraduate degree in History.
